Signs of Colon Cancer are described below. If you have colon cancer, do not fear.
Alternative Medicine provides several
herbal cures that include essiac, ellagic acid, and graviola. Electromedicine
therapies include Rife, Beck, and Lakhovsky devices. Cancer is caused by
symbiotic organisms that turn parasitic when the diet is overly acidic, and
can be avoided with an alkaline pH diet.
Colon cancer is a type of cancer that grows in the colon, or large
intestine (or bowel). This is the lower part of the intestines
involved in absorbing nutrients and water from the digested food. It can
be divided into three sections, the ascending, traverse, and descending colon.
The rectum at the end of the colon is where the feces collect before they are
expelled through the anus with a bowel movement.
Colon cancer is most common in people over 50, and
rare in people under 40. It is the third most common cancer after
lung and breast cancer. In most cases, colon cancer begins as a
polyp and grows into a tumor if left untreated. A polyp is a small ball
of tissue that sticks out on a stalk from the lining of the bowel.
Sometimes polyps contain an adenoma, an overgrowth of cells from the
bowel lining. Most large bowel cancers develop from a pre-existing
adenoma.

Signs of Colon Cancer
It is important to
emphasize that most people have no signs of colon cancer when it is just developing. Reported signs include:
•
Pain, cramps, or tenderness in the lower abdomen
•
Diarrhea that lasts for more than several days
•
Different stools that may have a different size or shape
•
Weight loss
•
A lump in the abdomen
•
Change in bowel habits
•
Constipation
•
Pain in the appendix
•
A feeling of fullness in the bowel that is not relieved by a bowel movement
•
Jaundice (a yellowish coloration of the skin)
Bowel cancers tend to bleed
easily so blood in the stool is cause for concern, but blood is usually the
result of hemorrhoids (piles). Not all polyps bleed, and not all polyps bleed
all of the time. The blood can be invisible to the naked eye, but loss of blood can
result in anemia (a shortage of iron) which can cause tiredness and
breathlessness.
A physical exam will rarely show any abnormalities, and a
rectal exam will reveal rectal cancer but not colon cancer. A
colonoscope can view the entire colon for evidence of cancer.

Medicine of today does not know the cause of
cancer, and what it calls prevention is really early detection. Rather
than watch for the symptoms of colon cancer, you may feel better to know the cause of cancer and how to
prevent it. But if you have symptoms, Alternative Medicine offers herbal and electromedicine cancer
cures; see the links below.
