Symptoms, cause, and prevention of Cancer of the Liver are below. The Liver is the largest organ in the body located in the upper abdomen on the right side.

There are two main forms of liver cancer. Those cells which perform the main function of the liver are called hepatocytes, and cancer of these cells is called hepatomas. There are cells that line the bile ducts of the liver; when cancer occurs here this is called cholangiocarcinomas.

Symptoms of Cancer of the Liver
There are no symptoms when liver cancer first occurs, and it often grows quickly. Symptoms may include:
• Discomfort or pain in the upper right abdomen, under the ribcage.
• Pain around the right shoulder blade.
• Loss of appetite.
• Loss of weight.
• Jaundice (yellowing of the skin)
• There may be problems with blood clotting which may lead to bruising or intestinal bleeding.
• Males may experience swelling of the breasts.
• There may be a hard lump just below the right rib cage.
• Fatigue or weakness.
• Abdominal fullness
• Fever
• Ascites

Cause and Prevention
This site is not concerned with where in the body cancer occurs, because all cancers, liver or otherwise, have the same origin in ones biological terrain as charted by Professor Vincent of France in the 1920s. He correlated biological terrain with the onset of cancer. A healthy terrain cannot get cancer, while a debased terrain cannot avoid it. Terrain is on the whole due to ones diet.
