The cause of cancer is located in ones biological terrain in which symbiotic organisms turn parasitic when the diet is too acidic. Cancer prevention involves monitoring the pH of ones urine, maintaining an alkaline diet through healthy eating, and keeping the internal systems clean.
The Link to Cancer Why the cause of cancer is “unknown” in the US appears to be due to greed, backed by the strong arm of government to suppress. You will see this theme in the various books describing alternative treatments. Treatment of cancer appears to be too profitable to allow for a cure. Biological terrain can be simply stated. Just as different crops thrive in one type of soil, and poorly or not at all in others, so too some diseases thrive in specific biological terrains, and cannot exist in others. Early in the 1900s, Professor Vincent of France charted the biological terrain of thousands of people by measuring the pH, rH2, and resistance of blood, saliva, and urine. He charted these nine parameters and came to this conclusion: Cancer can only occur if the pH of the blood becomes too alkaline. Simultaneously when this happens, the urine will become very acidic. Related to this is another theory that cancer is caused by a microbe, a theory unrecognized by the established medical community. This microbe exists in all humans in a symbiotic relationship, but when the blood pH becomes too alkaline, the microbe becomes parasitic, multiplies, and poisons the human with its metabolic byproducts. Some approaches kill the parasites, others restore the pH to prevent the parasitism, and others strengthen the system to battle the parasites. If you don't, the final conclusion is: No matter what cure you use, the last step must be to restore and maintain the biological terrain to the point that cancer cannot recur. With this discovery, you can prevent cancer by monitoring the pH of your urine using pH test paper, and adjusting your diet accordingly. The Role of Toxins in Cancer It is well known that certain toxins promote cancer; for example, cigarette smoking is associated with lung cancer. How does this work? In The China Study, cancer was found to go through three stages. The first stage, initiation, occurs when a carcinogen enters a cell and damages the DNA of the cell, making it ripe for uncontrolled reproduction. This cancer cell cannot enter the second stage, promotion, and multiply into clumps unless the conditions are right. The third stage, progression, occurs when the cancer cells multiply and do their damage, invading the rest of the body. It is the second stage, promotion, that was charted by Vincent, and is controlled by diet. The China Study detailed a study (simplified here), in which two groups of rats were given aflatoxin, one group a high dose and the other a low dose. Both groups were also fed a 20% protein diet, and a 5% protein diet. The results showed that the amount of protein consumed was far more predictive of the cancer growth rate, than the amount of aflatoxin. Remarkably, cancer growth could be reversed, up and down, by changing the amount or protein consumed, at all stages of cancer development. Thus, if you consume a toxin, it will do no harm and can remain dormant for long periods of time unless the conditions change to promote it. The Study also found that rats did not develop cancer until protein consumption exceeded about 10% of their diet; then it grew rapidly. A low protein diet could override the effects of a very powerful toxin, aflatoxin. The Study also showed that plant protein did not promote cancer growth, even at high levels of consumption. Gluten, the protein in wheat, did not promote cancer, while casein, the protein in milk, did. Cows milk is an exceptionally potent promoter of cancer in rats with aflatoxin. Animal-based nutrients increased tumor growth, while plant-based nutrients decreased it. Note that animal protein is a significant source of acid. This Study was also repeated in mice dosed with hepatitis B virus, with the same results. The Study concluded that the same effects were expected to be found in humans. Correction and Maintenance of Terrain Correction of terrain via dietary change can be accomplished by use of acid/alkaline food charts. The books Alkalize or Die by Theodore A. Baroody, and Acid and Alkaline by Herman Aihara, provide detailed food charts; you can see one online here. Your diet should, in general, be about 80% alkaline reacting and 20% acid reacting. Using the urine as a guide, if the pH is too acidic (below about 6.5), increase the consumption of alkaline foods; if in the rare case it is too alkaline (above about 7.2), slightly increase the consumption of acid foods, but be careful because it is a lot easier to become acid than it is to become alkaline. The addition of lemon, with orange or grapefruit juice to your diet is very useful for increasing alkalinity of the urine. Note that some foods such as lemon appear to be acidic, but after being digested leave an alkaline residue in the body. Biological Terrain Improved by Antioxidants There is a paradox in medicine that oxygen is necessary for life, but it is also the major cause of aging. A tremendous effort is being extended to find a combination of powerful antioxidants that may control or reverse cell damage by oxidative free-radicals. Kombucha Starter Another way to obtain the H- ion is to use a water ionizer. As long as you are going to drink water, it may be wise to drink ionized water. Typical flow-through units (that connect to the faucet), sell for $450 and up, and produce about a gallon per minute. The disadvantage is there is typically only a single stage carbon filter before the ionizer stage, and those serious about water quality want multi-stages to remove the pollutants. Ionizers require minerals in order to work, and you can't filter the minerals out or it won't work; you are stuck with a single stage filter. Therefore, be sure to get regular checkups, preferably from a naturopath and not from the established medical industry geared to suppress symptoms of disease, but not cure it. Spears - Nutritionist / Seer The Role of Vitamin D in Cancer According to an article published by Life Extension Foundation (LEF), research has shown that the majority of people are deficient in vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin), and that by raising this to recommended values reduced the incidence of breast cancer by 77%, and many other cancers as well. According to a study by Dr. William Grant, Ph.D., internationally recognized research scientist and vitamin D expert, found that about 30 percent of cancer deaths -- which amounts to 2 million worldwide and 200,000 in the United States -- could be prevented each year with higher levels of vitamin D. Vitamin D even fights colds and flu. Vitamin D levels are measured in nanograms per milliliter (ng/ml) or nanomoles per liter (nmol/l), where 0.40 ng/ml = 1 nmol/l. The recommendation by LEF is 40 - 60 ng/ml as measured by a vitamin D blood test, which is similar to the recommendation of Dr. Mercola, 50 ng/ml, who stated that vitamin D toxicity is possible, that some people need more than others, and the only way to know is to get your blood levels tested. In the U.S., the late winter average of vitamin D is a seriously deficient 15ng/ml. However, LEF found that of the thousands of people who purchased their home vitamin D blood test kits, none of the tests showed vitamin D toxicity, and most of them were deficient, and these were people who were committed to health because they went to the trouble to buy vitamin D and use home blood test kits. Many vitamin D supporters recommend 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily. Dr. Mercola suggests 4,000 to 5,000 IU per day is appropriate for adults, half that for children, and double that if you are very heavy. The U.S. Nutrition Board in the Institute of Medicine puts the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vitamin D at 200 IU for children and adults to age 50, and 400 IU for adults aged 50 to 70; most multivitamins contain 400 IU, which is sufficient to maintain bone health and prevent rickets, but not prevent cancer, multiple sclerosis, or flu. Without evidence to support it, the upper safe limit was set at 2,000 IU per day. Dr. Mercola states the most important thing to keep in mind is that you only want to supplement with natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), which is human vitamin D. Do NOT use the synthetic, more expensive, and highly inferior vitamin D2. The official cancer societies are violently opposed to the concept that vitamin D can reduce cancer levels, a strong marker that it is worth looking at carefully.
